A Review on various Approaches for Feature Extraction in CBIR

Abstract: Content Base image retrieval system is branch that uses for retrieval of different images on the basis of contents. Contents may be various attributes available in the images. A number of algorithms had been used for the purpose of content base Image retrieval. In this paper various approaches has been discussed that can be used for content base Image retrieval system. In this paper color base, energy based, shape and texture features extraction approaches has been discussed. These different approaches can be used for development of content base image retrieval system.
