Abstract: To evaluate the different chemical forms of arsenic; cadmium; chromium and lead present in a mining environment; we determined the levels of levels of metals in different compartments water-sediment by ICP-AES method; measured pH and redox potential of these different compartments. From these results; we note the presence of bioavailable forms of arsenic cadmium and lead in stations where agricultural exploitations at high contents are practiced and the groundwater stations (water consumption). It's feared the risk of metal poisoning of the population live in our study area.
