Abstract: A clinical study was undertaken to evaluate the total incidence of retraction pockets in chronic suppurative otitis media patients admitted in ENT ward of SVS Medical College and Hospital. Clinical study of retraction pockets regarding aetiological factors, the pathogenesis in the chronic suppurative otitis media patients selected. Thorough evaluation regarding presenting symptoms, signs associated with retraction pockets in the patients selected. Study of surgical procedure adopted for treatment of retraction pockets in the patients selected.
