Abstract: The Present investigation was conducted for the time period of twelve months (June2014-May2015) to evaluate the physico-chemical parameters of water at different sites of Kathani river, Gadchiroli, Maharashtra. and also to study the influence of seasonal changes on parameters and to study correlationship among defferents parameters. Majority Parameters were found within the permissible limits of WHO. EC, TDS and hardness were at their maximum during summer season. Anion Concentrations were higher during rainy season. Iron concentration was maximum throughout the rainy season and crossed the permissible limit of WHO. The highest positive correlation was observed between TDS and EC, TH with Ca and Mg and also between anions. Thus it is suggested to prevent human infringement and restrict excess of Iron from water before consumption.
