Abstract: There are many children in Nigeria who work under inhuman conditions hidden from public view and recognizing that ICT has the capacity to make children visible and countable, consequently making adults and government accountable for their welfare and protection. This paper analyse the patterns and implications of child labour and seek to find preventive strategies that could quash these deep seated social and humanitarian conundrums in Nigeria. It enlivens our consciousness that mobile technologies play important roles in children lives who are residents in the digital era and could proactively operate and share information on rights and privileges, and to the reality of receiving guidance and protection from secular authority against abuse and forced labour.
