Tourism Potentiality in North East India

Abstract: Tourism industry can be act as a revenue generator and as a catalyst for development in a region. Developed marketing strategies and logistics that include conducting sight-seeing tours, hospitality and communications are important for tourism to flourish in a region. The North-East India is plagued by multiple problems, from poverty to insurgency which have rendered it poorer and less connected than the rest of the country. Such reality has been preventing the North-East from realizing its full potentiality in tourism.
