Abstract: Oral sub mucous fibrosis is a chronic, complex, irreversible, highly potent pre-cancerous condition characterized by juxta epithelial inflammatory reaction and progressive fibrosis of the submucosal tissues such as lamina propira and deeper connective tissues.
