Shivani Kundra, Nishi Madaan

Abstract: Steganography is the art of hiding the fact that communication is taking place, by hiding information in other information. Many different carrier file formats can be used, but digital images are the most popular because of their frequency on the Internet. From the past time to present time security of confidential information is always an important issue. The main purpose of stegnography is to hide the existence of the message so that it becomes difficult for attacker to detect it. Any type of cover object can be taken that may be text, image or video to embed the secret information. In this paper a brief analysis of different image stegnography techniques and their comparison is done.
