Abstract: It is a known fact that employees get affected by their leaders. In the field of health care as well nurse leaders and managers has an astounding effect on staff nurses. The extent of such leadership and effective communication is such that it forms to be the deciding factor whether nurses will remain with the hospital for long term or not. This paper is an evaluation of the same in Australia government hospitals.
