Preliminary Analysis of Work-Life Balance (WLB) on Women Police in Tiruchirappalli

Abstract: Women empowerment is needed both in work and personal life. In todays life circumstance, women are deemed necessary to contribute their duties, skills talents equally both in work and personal life. Striking a balance between work and in personal life is of utmost importance. Therefore, the need of a good Work-Life Balance (WLB) is gaining importance among the employees. This paper covers the challenges being faced by women police in Tiruchirappalli, South India, specifically addresses the impact of recruitment, training, and welfare programs towards work-life balance. This paper also addresses how discipline and performance expectancy are vital towards a successful WLB. A survey was conducted with 100 police personnel to perform the quantitative analysis.
