Abstract: India post liberalisation has seen a phenomenal growth in the IT sector. According to the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM 2012), the IT sector has increased its contribution to India's GDP from 1.2% in 1998 to 7.5% in 2012. NASSCOM and The Open University (UK) in a report titled ?Women and IT Scorecard ? India?
