Impact of Lifestyle Factors on COVID-19 Transmission Dynamics in Kabwe, Lusaka and Kafue, Zambia

Abstract: This study examines lifestyle factors influencing COVID-19 transmission in Kabwe, Lusaka and Kafue towns in Zambia. Utilising a qualitative approach, data from 50 participants were analysed to identify elements like social practices and hygiene habits. Findings reveal significant factors such as social gatherings, public transportation usage, and personal behavious like smoking and alcohol consumption contributing to the virus spread. Recommendations include heightened awareness and targeted public health interventions.
