Abstract: This study was done to detect better marker of atheroginicity among urine albumin creatinine ratio & carotid intima media thickening in ischaemic heart disease. Albumin creatinine ratio outcome has more correlation with comorbidities that exist with ischaemic heart disease like diabetes mellitus & hypertension which themselves can cause albumin excretion by causing nephropathy. Intima media thickness has direct association more with the progress of atherogenesis when comorbidities exist.
