Impact of Selected Fruits Production on Pakistani Exports

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of fruit production of selected fruits, banana, citrus, mango, apricot and almond on the export. Unit root test, simple OLS methods were applied on the time series data of Pakistan for the period of 1992-2010 to analyze the impact of fruit production on exports. The results of OLS show that there is positive role of apple production on export. Farmers should be motivated to produce apple to export.
