Government Schemes Available for Developing Women Entrepreneurship in India

Abstract: Our country endures to see massively successful women entrepreneurs. Indra Nooyi, Ekta Kapoor, Chanda Kochar etc. these women encourage other women to incubate their business. However, small amount of capital is not a big thing to start a business. Patriarchy and lack of social and family support may be a few reasons for several women, but for majority lack of financial support are the roadblock for the women entrepreneurship journey. So as to motivate the small enterprises of women the government of India offers a financial boost specifically designed schemes for women entrepreneurs. In this article all data were collected secondarily. Here, some of the schemes and financial institutions including nationalized banks implemented by the government of India for developing women entrepreneurship.
