University Event Management System

Abstract: This project aims at developing an Event Management System for our institution. As the numbers of events conducted are increasing day by day, it is difficult to manage details using systems like spreadsheets, traditional databases. The volume of data is now larger and retrieval of those data and generating reports has become harder. In order to overcome the drawbacks of traditional event management systems, a new Smart Event Management System can be introduced which uses the modern technology for managing various tasks. This project provides functionality to add Event Type like - FDP, Workshops, Conferences etc and Event Level like International, National, Inter Collegiate etc. Considering the problems and disadvantages of event management systems used in universities, there is a dire need to build an automated system which can help with managing data and generate reports, which is the primary focus of our project.
