It is a nail-biting tale that enthralls readers and keeps them engrossed in this mystery novel. This research paper analyzes the social, legal, and cultural aspects of this novel, such as the unusual manner in which the jury system is portrayed. It also briefs about the inadequacy of law as the guilty were not accorded the proper punishment for the crime he committed.
