Understanding of Undergraduate Students at All India Institute of Medical Science Regarding Child Sexual Abuse by Older Children / Abused When Alone / Abused When Outside Home

Abstract: Child sexual abuse a serious and heinous crime of the children which may victimize both sex of the children. Concern and opinion related to the child sexual abuse of youngster?s students of the AIIMS Patna. These students belong to different community and different states of India. This survey done by online mode information sent by the Google form and collected information. Most of the students lived with both parents in nuclear family (68.2%). About 21.9% students live with their both parents in joint family. There were 77.8 % participants agree for the older children sexual abused the younger children. CSA perpetrator does not belong to the victim family agreement and disagreement opinion almost equal 32.2 % agrees for the statement and 32.3 % participants disagree for the statement. About 88.2% participants agree for the child sexual abuse when they were alone. Child sexual abuse at night 34.7% participants agree for the statement and 32.1% participants said they don?t know means no opinion related to this statement. Children are sexual abused when they were outside of home 42 % participants were agreeing and 33 % participants? neutral about these statements.
