The intestinal flora can participate in the activities of the gut - brain axis under both physiological and pathological conditions, affecting brain function and certain related behaviors. Therefore, in - depth study of the interaction between intestinal microbes and PTSD, and the design of individualized drugs for the intestinal flora, can provide new research ideas and methods for the clinical prevention and treatment of PTSD.
