Abstract: Total protein required for men need 60gm/day, women need 50gm/day and pregnant women needs 78gm/day. According to several studies, over 70% of Indians have protein deficiency cause due to hybridization and improper diet. For Pregnancy requires a healthy diet that includes an adequate intake of energy, protein, vitamins and minerals to meet maternal and fetal needs.
