The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract: Autonomous vehicles represent a paradigm shift in transportation and are taking center stage, development lies in the indispensable role of artificial intelligence (AI). The integration of AI algorithms in these vehicles incorporate a range of sophisticated technologies: machines, computer vision, sensor fusion and deep neural networks that together enable to navigate, perceive and make decisions in real time.
