P. Shravan Kumar

Abstract: This research paper, titled 'Perceiving Challenges as Ladders to Success: Comparative Analysis of the Lives of Karna & Krishna, ' delves into the intricate narratives of Karna and Krishna from the Mahabharata, interpreted through the spiritual teachings of ISKCON. It explores how these legendary figures confronted and transcended unique adversities, offering profound insights into converting setbacks into opportunities for personal and professional growth. Karna, emblematic of resilience and unwavering principles despite social marginalization, contrasts with Krishna, whose divine wisdom and strategic acumen guided him through existential threats. Through interviews with ISKCON spiritual leaders, this study demonstrates how the experiences of Karna and Krishna resonate with ISKCON's philosophy of bhakti - yoga, illuminating paths to overcoming challenges with spiritual enlightenment. This paper contributes to understanding resilience, ethical leadership, and the transformative power of adversity, bridging ancient wisdom with contemporary aspirations.
