Abstract: This survey paper explores the dynamic intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and the arts, offering a comprehensive overview of how AI technologies are revolutionizing artistic creation and expression. It then delves into the realm of generative art, examining the techniques and algorithms, such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and neural networks, that enable machines to create compelling artistic works autonomously.
