Life on Europa: Beyond the Ice
Arnav Kukshal
Abstract: Jupiter's moon Europa, with its subsurface ocean beneath an icy crust, is a prime candidate in the search for extraterrestrial life. This research reviews geological, chemical, and observational evidence of Europa's potential habitability, drawing on data from NASAs Galileo mission and Hubble Space Telescope observations. Upcoming missions like NASAs Europa Clipper and ESAs JUICE are expected to provide critical insights. This study highlights Europa's significance in astrobiology and the broader quest to find life beyond Earth.
