Abstract: Perforated peptic ulcer is common surgical emergency, the immediate definitive treatment operation for perforated peptic ulcer is neither safe. Giant duodenal ulcer is defined as perforation of size equal to or greater than 2 cm in diameter. Gaint perforation is common in Indian surgical practice. but literature is silent regarding its result. To choose right surgery either omentopexy, omental plugging or control tube duodenostomy definitive surgery is very difficult.
