Effect on Nanostructured Hydroxyapatite by %TiO2
Dora E. Ledesma-Carrin
Abstract: Nanometer and stoichiometric hydroxyapatite was prepared by precipitation of precursors. Later, TiO2 was added to observe its effect. Different percentages were tested 0.1, 1.5, 1, 5 and 10, like first approaching. Results show that around 5 % appears evidence of a new bond. SEM-HR shows morphology change at 7 %, the optimal percentage is between 5 and 7 %.
