Effect of Teaching through Drama on the Communication Abilities

Abstract: There are various methodologies to teach English as a foreign language, although some of them are more commonly used than others by English teachers. The use of drama in teaching of a foreign language is not a new approach-its beginnings can be traced back to the 19th century. This paper presents the findings of the study on the effect of teaching through drama on skills such as Speaking, Reading, Writing and Comprehension on the communication abilities of EFL/ESL learners with respect to their level of education.
