Dr. Sewa Singh Bajwa is an esteemed Associate Professor in the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication at Ch. Devi Lal University, Sirsa. With a professional career spanning over two decades, Dr. Bajwa has made significant contributions to both academia and the field of journalism. He began his career as a Sub Editor at Daily Ajit Jalandhar and went on to hold various lecturing positions at prestigious institutions such as GJUS&T Hisar and GNDU Regional Campus Jalandhar, before joining Ch. Devi Lal University. His teaching experience is enriched by his deep involvement in guiding research, having supervised several Ph.D. scholars and M.Phil dissertations.

Dr. Bajwa is a prolific author, with an impressive array of 18 books, 60 papers in journals, and 12 chapters in books to his name. His research interests are diverse, encompassing critical studies of thematic changes in Punjabi cinema, as evidenced by his Ph.D. research, and he continues to contribute to the field through his extensive publications and research supervision. Apart from his academic endeavors, Dr. Bajwa enjoys a variety of hobbies including playing cricket, writing poetry, reading books, working as a radio jockey, and listening to music. His goal is to achieve the highest caliber as a researcher, demonstrating his passion and commitment to the field of journalism and mass communication.
