Literature Review on Contributions of Mathematics in Developed India@2047

Abstract: This literature review examines the contributions of mathematics to India's development, with a focus on achieving the vision of Developed India[at]2047. A comprehensive analysis of existing research reveals mathematics' significant impact on innovation, economic growth, and sustainable development in India. The review highlights strengths in mathematical research, education, and applications, as well as areas for improvement, including inadequate teacher training and outdated curricula. It also identifies opportunities for interdisciplinary approaches, international collaborations, and policy initiatives to drive progress.
