Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) are among the most frequent inflammatory diseases. The coexistence between AS and RA is rare. We report a case of a 48 year old man, who presented with inflammatory low back pain in 2012 and the diagnosis of Ankylosing Spondylitis was reached in agreement with the modified a New York and the ASAS criteria. In 2016, he presented an erosive seropositive for RF and anti CCP polyarthritis. The treatments comprised NSAIDs, Methotrexate, and finally anti TNF a blockers.
