Effect of Hall Currents on Transient Convective Heat and Mass Transfer Flow of a Viscous Fluid in a Vertical Wavy Channel with Tranveling Thermal Waves

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate the effect of chemical reaction and radiation absorption on mixed convective heat and mass transfer flow of a viscous, electrically conducting fluid in a vertical wavy channel under the influence of an inclined magnetic fluid with heat sources. The equations governing the flow, heat and mass transfer are solved by employing perturbation technique with aspect ratio ? as perturbation parameter. The velocity, temperature and concentration distributions are investigated for different values of G, M, m, k, Q1, N, ? and x +?t. The rate of heat and mass transfer are numerically evaluated for different variations of the governing parameters.
